Tahaa Island
Tahaa is unique, largely due to its relative isolation.
It has preserved its charm and the authenticity of ancient Polynesia. It provides calm and rest, but also offers trips to the mountains and motus – islands of white sand that await you.
Tahaa is a wild island and the luxurious vegetation rises above an emerald lagoon circled with paradisical motus.
The tropical flora is magical, with perfumed and colourful gardens that will move you.
Its position is Longitude 152o West, Latitude 17o South and it lies 230km from Tahiti.
The guesthouse Au Phil Du Temps is situated on the West coast of Taha’a opposite Bora Bora, in front of the celebrated Motu TauTau. From there, you will be able to admire beautiful sunsets.

Event Hawaikinui Va\'a - October
At the end of October every year there is the largest pirogue race in Polynesia. Tens of pirogues battle in high seas for the title of the best team of the year.
The island of Tahaa welcomes two out of four stages of the race; the Au Phil du Temps guesthouse is ideally located to assist in this major sporting event.
We follow the course by boat according to the weather or in 4x4 up to the North of the Island.
